Winning Souls for Jesus is the heart of our Evangelism Ministry. This ministry aims to share with a lost and dying world that becoming a Christian is the most incredible event that will ever take place in their lifes.
We aim to renew and share the our faith by nurturing a deeper commitment to our Lord Jesus Christ within the Church; by reaching out to inactive Christians and to the unchurched in Houslow and its surrounds; by meeting the needs of those inquiring about the christian faith.
The objectives of the Evangelism Ministry are to:
- Promote an effective program of evangelism throughout the church community
- Set forth an adequate biblical and theological basis and understanding for evangelism
- Give particular emphasis to the promotion of comprehensive and practical programs of evangelism in Hounslow so that persons without a church affiliation will be included within the nurturing and caring responsibility of the church
- Guide the church in the use of its leisure time and the appropriate days of the Christian calendar for special evangelism emphasis
- Develop literature and programs for the cultivation of a devotional life, active in prayer and study
